Calendope is a social shareable calendar link platform that lets you share your schedule with friends and followers with one single link.
We created Calendope because we wanted a social shareable calendar link for our own use cases and projects without the need for sharing our email or personal/work calendar.
What is Calendope and how do you use it?
Calendope (The dope calendar) is a SaaS that lets you create and share a social shareable calendar link. You can think of it as a Linktree for your schedule.
How to get started with Calendope
Sign up on Calendope and choose a username that will be a part of your shareable social calendar link.
Then, add your events to the calendar and see how they appear in your link.
Here's how my social shareable calendar link looks.
Customisation options for Calendope
With Calendope, you can customise the following:
- Your username - choose a username that best represents you or your business.
- Display name - a display name that makes it easy for people to recognise you.
- About - a short description of you and what you do.
- Profile picture - a photo of you or a logo of your brand to showcase who you are.
- CTA button text - the action you want users to take.
- CTA button link - the site or app you want users to go to when they decided to click on the CTA.
Calendope features and benefits
A social shareable calendar is a fairly new concept. Of course you can share a link of your Google calendar but then again privacy becomes a concern.
You don't want people to see where you will head to dinner on a Saturday night.
Keeping these things in mind, we built Calendope to let you add and showcase events you want to show. No leaks and no displaying events that do not have anything to do with followers.
Setting up a basic one off calendar event in Calendope
To create a one off calendar event that will occur once in its lifespan, do the following:
- Click on "Add New Event."
- Add an event title and an event description.
- We require a start and end time for your event so we can showcase how long a calendar event will last for.
- Click on 'Create' and you are done.
- Your calendar event will now show up on your social shareable calendar link which can be copied from your dashboard.
- Copy the link using the 🔗 emoji and share it with friends and followers.
You can edit or delete an event using the pencil or trash can icons respectively.
Event recurrence on Calendope
We all have events that happen each day or on certain days of the week. With Calendope, you can add an event recurrence to ensure that you create an event once and it stays there until you turn it off.
Turn on the toggle for event recurrence and select the days the event re-occurs. Now your event will reoccur each day that it is chosen and will correspond to the start and end time chosen in the default event creation settings.
Private events on Calendope
In case you wish to show a blocked event on your calendar link, then you can turn on the Private event toggle so that viewers cannot see what you are up to.
Viewers can still see the location and link if you choose to do so.
Adding a location and link in your calendar event for Calendope
You can add a location and link in your calendar event; simply type the event location and paste the link to sign up or buying tickets.
Activity indicator on Calendope
Depending on your scheduled events in Calendope, the activity indicator will show your current status:
- Available - you are available and free to connect.
- Busy - you are in an event or meeting and aren't available.
- Will get busy soon - showcases that you will get busy soon.

Calendope limitations and drawbacks
I am Anthony and I created Calendope and a few SaaS projects with a small team. As a minimalist generalist, it is my goal to keep Calendope simple and therefore you can find these limitations:
- You cannot link your Google calendar or other calendars; we passed on the opportunity to sell Calendope because we did not see a good reason to link calendar at the moment (open to views).
- You cannot invite people to a calendar event.
- Some features are limited to a Lifetime Plan ($15).
- We do not have the same profile customisation options like Linktree or other link in bio tools yet.
- For recurring events, if you want to update the time then you will need to update the start date to the current date for it to work again.
- For a location in a calendar event, it simply opens in Google Maps with the location's name as the search keyword.
- For a link, I recommend testing it first before sharing your social calendar link with your audience.
